Natural Strength Endurance Training is for anyone who may want to learn to run properly and efficiently, improve their current race times or even try their first race. Please understand that this will be very different than the typical cookie-cutter mileage program. We won’t be building mileage weekly to prepare for a certain race. Just as CrossFit prepares us for any physical challenge at any time, we will be prepared to jump into any race at any time. CrossFit is still the program, strength and stamina are the core elements needed to perform. In addition to our regular CrossFit programming, these endurance sessions will focus on power output and efficiency of movement while running. We will meet at the outdoor track for our interval and tempo work, trails for hills or whatever is on the menu that day (to be posted with the workout of the day). We also do a Trail Run on Saturday mornings, not technically a training session, FREE for anyone to join us, we will post the location and see you there.
We will be learning and practicing Pose running technique.
We will be running less mileage with focus on quality and intensity.
Please bring a watch, a log book is a good idea and dress appropriately for the weather
